Anitha and Deepika went towards Shashank and Vaishnav. Both of them are glaring at the men, so they eventually step back

"What happened, girls?" Vaishnav asks, and Deepika stomps on his foot

"Why didn't you both tell us that you'll be our professor?" Anitha asks them

"We thought you both want to get awkward if you both get to know the truth," Shashank says softly, making Anitha and Deepika nod

All abruptly turned towards the raising voices

"Don't make me carry you, Nikhila," Subhash says sternly and looks at her intensely as if challenging her to disobey him

"But if someone sees us going together, then what they'll think," Nikhila asks him softly

"What's happening here?" Deepika asks Nikhila and Subhash

"He's — Nothing." Subhash cuts Nikhila off when she was about to tell them and walked away. Nikhila looks as he walks away

Shashank, Anitha, Vaishnav, and Deepika look at Nikhila. Vaishnav opened his mouth to talk but stopped himself as he saw Subhash entering back into the ground

"What are you doing, Subhash?" Vaishnav asks him as Subhash comes back, holding a helmet, and hands it over to Nikhila

"Put it on. No one will see us." Subhash states sternly

Nikhila looks at them for help, but Anitha and Deepika are too shocked to react, whereas Vaishnav and Shashank know better than interfering with them

Having no other option, Nikhila puts on her helmet, and Subhash adjusts it properly

"Let's go before I carry you myself," Subhash states flatly, but the command is clear

Nikhila glanced at the remaining, but all four of them behaved like they didn't see anything. She silently walked behind him. He took her bag and got on the bike, giving the bag to her once she hopped onto the bike

The ride was silent yet quick. Nikhila gripped his t-shirt. Subhash instantly tightened the grip on the handlebar

Within a few minutes, they both reached the apartment. Nikhila got down the bike first and handed him the helmet. She silently gets into the elevator and presses the 7th floor. Subhash also entered the elevator

"You're crying, aren't you?" Subhash asks without turning back

Nikhila shook her head in no

"Don't lie to me, Nikhila," Subhash says, stepping out of the elevator

"If I say the truth, will you come and wipe my tears or what. No, you won't. Everyone will say I'm here and stuff, but when I really need someone, where are they?" Nikhila retorts back, feeling utterly frustrated

Subhash stared at her in shock and confusion because of her sudden outburst

"I'm sorry, sir. Sometimes my periods make me shout at others," Nikhila says and opens the lock of the flat and walks inside

She walked to her bedroom and closed the curtains, turning the room into darkness. She played songs on her mobile and slept, hugging the pillow close to her chest

Subhash entered his flat and played with Cherry for some time. After playing, he got ready for the office.

"Cherry, Nikhila is alone in her flat. Will you check when she wakes up?" Subhash asks her softly

Cherry nods, and Subhash gives her a letter

"When you go to her, give her this letter. Daddy will try to come back soon, okay?" Subhash rubs her fur and walks away after seeing Cherry's nod

Subhash goes to his office, and as expected, Divank was waiting for him

"Good morning, Mr. Mittal" Subhash wishes curtly

"Good morning, my old friend," Divank says back

"Work first, Divank," Subhash says firmly

"Yeah, yeah, let's work," Divank says

With that, both of them discussed the project infrastructure and insights. After an hour of discussion, Subhash says, "Let's go to the site this weekend and later we'll go to an architect."

"Yeah, and about architects, we can go to Nivank. Don't worry about that," Divank says, making Subhash nod at him

"Fine then," Subhash says

"I'll take my leave now," Divank says and leaves the office

Subhash stayed back in the office, and the rest of the morning went by a board meeting. After meeting, Subhash drives back to the apartment

Back at the apartment,

Nikhila woke up after three hours and started feeling hungry, but she's in no mood to cook. She silently walked into the kitchen and made a cornflake bowl. While eating, she heard a loud bark, which made her flinch, and she also knows who has made that

She slowly walked to the door and opened it. She looked at Cherry, who stood in front of the apartment with the letter given by Subhash

Cherry barks again, making Nikhila flinch, but Cherry signaled at the letter. Nikhila takes the letter silently and ruffles her fur with trembling hands

"How did you come here when the door is locked, Cherry?" Nikhila looks at the letter

Cherry gave her a sheepish look, making her laugh loud

"Did Subhash sir give me a letter?" Nikhila asks softly, making Cherry nod

"But why will he give me the letter?" Nikhila looks at Cherry in confusion

Cherry made an innocent face stating — how I can know momma

Cherry came inside and sat on the floor mattress made by Deepika for her

Nikhila locks the door from inside and tore a packet of Cherry's treat bites and keeps them in the bowl

"Are you fine or do you want more?" Nikhila asks hesitantly, unsure of what to do

Cherry nods at her as if saying —these are fine

Nikhila sat on the couch and ate her cornflakes while Cherry ate her own treat bites

After eating, Cherry slept on her mattress, and Nikhila opened the letter

I know you've got your periods this morning itself by the way you held your stomach close

And it's completely fine for outbursts. I don't have any grudges on that, so don't feel guilty about that

Nikhila closed the letter and hugged it close to her heart because it was the first time someone else cared for her other than her best friends and her younger brother. Tears pricked in her eyes, but she wiped them quickly, hearing the door opening sound

Anitha and Deepika entered the house holding the food parcel packet and widened their eyes in surprise, seeing Cherry sleeping on the floor mattress

"Nikku, what's happening here?" Deepika asks, recovering from the shock

"Cherry came and gave me this," Nikhila says, nonchalantly pointing at the letter which was given by Subhash

"What's this?" Anitha asks, taking the letter, but she doesn't open it

"Subhash sir asked Cherry to give me that," Nikhila says, sitting back on the couch

"What's it for?" Anitha asked, opening the letter

"Where's Cherry?" Vaishnav entered the flat

"What's happening here?" Shashank asks, seeing Cherry and the letter in Anitha's hand

"Bhai, how did Cherry come here?" Nikhila asks Vaishnav

"Voice command lock," Vaishnav says and adds softly, "Did Cherry trouble you?"

"No, she didn't she just gave me the letter and slept after eating treat bites," Nikhila says

"Letter who when how dare they give letter to my little sister" Vaishnav asks protectively

"Go and ask your best friend," Deepika says, stomping his foot

"Don't stomp my foot," Vaishnav says, towering over her

"I won't. What will you do?" Deepika retorts back, lifting her head to meet his gaze.

Both are looking at each other intensely. Meanwhile, Shashank, Anitha, and Nikhila look at both of them as if they're watching a romantic scene from a k - drama

Cherry wakes up and barks at them, making Nikhila, Anitha, and Shashank pout, and Deepika and Vaishnav release their eye contact

"Bad timing," Shashank and Anitha mutters making Nikhila giggle softly

"What did you say?" Deepika and Vaishnav ask

"I asked first," Vaishnav says

"No, I asked," Deepika retorts back

"No, I asked." Vaishnav grunts in annoyance

"Don't copy me," Deepika glares

"You're copying me," Vaishnav says

"What the hell is happening here?" One voice and everything falls silent. Cherry ran to him and jumped on him. Meanwhile, Vaishnav and Deepika muttered, "Devil is back," and unfortunately, everyone heard that

"I heard that," that voice says

"We're sorry, Subhash/Subhash sir," Vaishnav and Deepika say at a time

"No need to call me "sir" out of the campus" Subhash says looking at Nikhila knowing her habit of calling him that "How are you feeling now, Nikhila" Subhash asks suddenly catching her off guard

"Feeling better s —" Nikhila says, making him nod and sips a glass of water, stopping herself from speaking more

"If you all are done, then let's leave," Subhash states

Shashank and Vaishnav walk back to the apartment. Nikhila and Anitha look at Subhash and Shashank. Meanwhile, Vaishnav and Deepika are glaring at each other

Deepika shut the door and asked her best friends, "Are you done with staring at the brothers?"

"Yes, wait — what the hell are you talking about?" Anitha retorts back, and Nikhila looks at Deepika dumb folded

"And why we'll both stare at them?" Nikhila asks back

"Because you both like them," Deepika says, smirking at her best friends

"No, I don't like him." Nikhila and Anitha say, and Nikhila adds,"He's stern too."

"But he also cares," Deepika says

"He might have done the same thing if another person there," Nikhila says back

"What about you, Ani?" Deepika asks

"I'm not sure," Anitha replies hesitantly

"But you both look at them like they're your everything," Deepika says  opening the food parcel

"I don't think so," Nikhila says and starts eating

"And for God sake they're our professors, even if we like them they have to like us back. If they like us, then our parents should like it. Even if my parents agree, my paati will never agree." Anitha says and eats her food

"I don't think my mother will agree too, and I'm just 17 to think all the stuff," Nikhila says

"Fine, fine, let's stop this for now," Deepika says while eating

On the other hand,

Subhash and Shashank eat silently, whereas Vaishnav feeds Cherry

"Subhash since when did you start writing letters," Vaishnav asks, suddenly making Subhash choke on his food, and Shashank gives him water

"Who told you?" Subhash asks nonchalantly

"Deepika," Vaishnav says back

"You said you're not feeling anything towards her, then what's the letter for?" Vaishnav asks

"Do you even know what I've written in the letter" Subhash asks back

"I don't know that's why I'm asking" Vaishnav says while eating his lunch

"I just told her to take care and call me if she needs anything" Subhash states nonchalantly making Shashank and Vaishnav smirk at him

"What that look is for" Subhash raises his eyebrows

"I'm seriously asking you again — don't you feel anything for her" Vaishnav asks Subhash

"No" Subhash replies sharply clearly irritated by continuous questioning of his friend

"As you wish then" Vaishnav says nonchalantly 

The weeks passed quickly,

Nikhila, Anitha and Deepika are attending their classes regularly and three of them joined in badminton, volleyball and football classes

Nikhila talks to her younger brother, Nikunj and her father, Naman

Anitha is talking to her parents, Ashwin and Aparna and also asks her younger sister, Ashitha about the letter which her senior gave

Deepika talks to her parents, Divyansh and Devika, her younger sister, Darshana and her bua maa, Divyanshi

Meanwhile, Subhash and Divank both visited the site and finalized Nivank as the architect. Vaishnav also joined them in the project

Shashank is busy with the new cases and was promoted to Superintendent of Police (SP)

But every weekend, six of them spend time in each other's apartment and all of them become quite close too

On the other hand,

Shreya tries to get into Subhash life again by calling him and Nikhila again and again

Nikhila shut her up the moment Shreya reveals the reason for the call

Subhash directly blocked Shreya's number in his mobile
