"It's a wild guess. Wait... Are you really working as professors" Nikhila asks suspiciously

"Yes" Subhash says making her eyes blink in surprise and realisation

Meanwhile Anitha and Deepika come back holding the food trays which they ordered and looks at them

"What happened guys. Why are you looking serious" Deepika asks giving a tray to the men

Nikhila was about to say something but Subhash shook his head in no silently telling her not to say anything to them and she nodded as if saying that she won't say anything

Shashank and Vaishnav noticed the silent exchange between Nikhila and Subhash but decided to stay quiet for the time being

"So anyone have hobbies" Vaishnav asks

"Yeah" Deepika says

"May I know what are they other than being a midnight superhero" Vaishnav asks playfully which made her stomp her foot on his foot

"Why everyone decided to stomp my foot" Vaishnav says dramatically which made everyone laugh

Everyone ate their food silently and pays the bill and started walking towards the parking lot

But Anitha's bracelet was tugged in Shashank's wrist watch she was trying to call him but didn't disturbed him as he was talking on the call

"Make sure the culprit doesn't escape I'll be in station soon" He said sternly but didn't know that Anitha is also hearing him

After finishing the call, he turned back as she tapped his shoulder lightly. He looked at her intensely which makes her heart flutter

"Are you a police officer" She asks him softly

He nods making her eyes go wide in surprise and looks at the watch which was tugged with her bracelet

He gently removed her bracelet from his watch and gives her back

"Don't tell anyone, except Subhash bhai and Vaishnav bhai no one knows that" He says his voice is soft yet stern

"What's your post in the department, sir" Anitha asks him

"Undercover Additional Superintendent of Police" Shashank tells her in a low voice

Anitha looks at him with new found respect and salutes to him as no one aren't there

"Anitha stop it, please" Shashank says softly

"You deserve more than this, sir" With that she walks towards her best friends

"Why did you take long. Did something happen" Nikhila asks looking at her best friend concern is evident on her face

"She just had a bracelet wala moment" Deepika says with a teasing glint in her eyes

"Don't start with your teasing now. While walking my bracelet got stuck in Shashank's wrist watch" Anitha says calmly

"Let's go now" Nikhila says

"Right let's go" Deepika opened the passenger door and back side door of the car for her best friends

Anitha sat on the back seat and Nikhila sat on the passenger seat

The drive was silent yet peaceful. First, Deepika dropped Anitha back and helped her with the shopping bags. Then, she dropped Nikhila and helped her with the bag. She drives back to her home and parks the car in the garage. She silently takes the shopping bags from the trunk of the car and goes inside the house

She then looks at the empty room but the study room light was turned on she knows very well who it must be. It's her younger sister, Darshana is still studying

"Darshu" Deepika looks at her sternly

"Sorry na Deep. I was lost in the books I didn't check the time" Darshana looks at her sister with puppy eyes

"Don't look at me like that. Just go and sleep" Deepika says and goes to her room

She placed her shopping bags on the chair and went into the washroom to get fresh. She comes out after taking a quick shower and comes out wearing a bunny night suit. She quickly makes her way to the bed adjusts the AC temperature and sleeps consumes her

At Anitha's house,

As Anitha entered inside her parents smiled at her

"How's the shopping, Ani" Her mother, Aparna asked her softly

"It's amazing, maa" Anitha tells her

"Why it won't be amazing afterall it's my son's money. Right" Her grandmother, Arundhati states flatly

"Yeah, it's my appa's money so what" Anitha says while turning back and looks at Arundhati

"Ashwin, I'm telling you that this girl will bring shame to our home one day" Arundhati says disdain is clearly is visible on her face

"My daughter will never bring me shame. Instead both of my daughters will be my pride." Ashwin tells his mother his voice and firm and filled with pride for his daughters leaving his mother fuming in anger

Anitha and Ashitha hugs him from each side

"You always do a group hug without me" Aparna says

Anitha pulls her into the hug

"We love you" Three of them whispers to her softly

"It's getting late we should go to sleep" Aparna says

"Yeah it's true" Everyone gets back to their rooms and sleeps

At Nikhila's house

After entering the house she looks at her father sitting in the dining table alone "Where is maa, papa. Why are you sitting alone" She asks her father softly

"I want to talk to you, Nikku" Naman said softly. Her eyes welled up in tears as her father called with the name he gave after years

"I'll keep these inside and come" Nikhila rushes to her room and comes back shortly after keeping the shopping bags

"What do you want to talk papa" Nikhila asks her father taking a seat in front of him

"I'm sorry, Nikku. I couldn't save you from your mother's harsh behaviour towards you" Naman looks down feeling guilty -- for not standing for his daughter when she needed

"Papa, look at me" Nikhila says her voice soft and gentle. "Papa, please don't apologise. You're helpless right" Nikhila asks softly wiping his tears which are about to fall. Naman nods

"Did maa has done something" Nikhila asks him trying to understand the situation better "Yes, Nikku. I'll tell you everything when time comes just be aware of your mother" Naman tells her softly and adds "Just keep fighting till she agrees for whatever you wish for"

Nikhila nods softly "Sleep now, papa. You must be exhausted" Naman nods and walks into his room silently leaving Nikhila alone

She silently went back to her room and lied back on the bed

On the other side,

Subhash and Vaishnav comes back to the apartment after dropping Shashank in the way and gets fresh

"Subhash" Vaishnav calls him

"What" Subhash replies

"Nikhila is the same girl you saw in the temple right" Vaishnav asks making Cherry lie on her cot

"Yeah" He says nonchalantly

"Fine" Vaishnav says

"Why did you ask" Subhash asks him back

"Nothing serious" Vaishnav says

"Tell me why did you ask Nikhila not to say anything" Vaishnav asks him directly coming to the point

"About what" Subhash asks him

"About us being their professors" Vaishnav says

"Yeah bhai, why didn't you let her tell Anitha and Deepika that we're their professors" Shashank asks who just entered the house from police station

"Why do you want to get them shocked or do you want to make them awkward that they are hanging out with their future professors" Subhash says his voice stern and frustrated

"No" Both replied

"Then, Nikhila has made a blunt guess that's why I told her and asked her not to reveal to her friends because they might get awkward" Subhash says softening his voice a little

"Sorry bhai/ Subhash, we didn't think that way" Shashank and Vaishnav whispers

"Just get rest you both must be tired right" Subhash says and walks into his room

"Did the culprit revealed the truth" Vaishnav asks Shashank

"Yeah. I had to show third - degree to that culprits" Shashank says stretching out his arms

"Goodnight, bhai" Shashank says walking into his room

"Alone with nightmares again" Vaishnav sighs softly and walks into the room

Subhash immediately drifts into sleep

Shashank was tossing in the bed but can't sleep so he goes to the nightstand and takes the sleeping pills bottle but puts it aside remembering the promise he did to his brother that he won't take the pills until unless it's intense. He turned on the TV and resumes watching "The first frost" from 16th episode

Meanwhile, Vaishnav was laying on the bed and looks at the stars in the sky all he could mutter is "I miss you, maa papa" and wipes the tears welling up in his eyes. He tries to sleep but all he could see is dead bodies of his parents so he silently went to Shashank's room knowing that he won't sleep either. Both watched the drama silently till their eyes started hurting

Deepika slept like their is no tomorrow

But Nikhila and Anitha sleep is a long way, all they could think is about their respective families.

Nikhila is thinking that what his father wants to tell her what her mother is planning to do with them and if she tries to do something with her brother, Nikunj she won't spare her mother because enough is enough she played with her emotions now if her mother tries to play with her brother then she won't be calm

Anitha wants what her grandmother is thinking if it's about her family then she won't hesitate to throw that woman out of the house all she could think about her family's safety even if it makes her parents angry at her she don't care because she wants her family to be safe

Two days passed

Saturday arrives

Nikhila, Anitha and Deepika are checking their luggage in their respective houses for the last time as they're going to shift to the Deepika's apartment today which is near the University

"Let's go" Naman says to Nikhila

"Okay, papa" Nikhila says holding her bags

Naman takes the trolley from her and walks to the car

"Nikhila" Nalini voice stops her from stepping out

"Don't think that you're a free bird now. I'll be watching your every move" Nalini says her voice is stern as usual

"Then watch it. I'll tell you myself that what the stuff I did everyday" Nikhila says crossing her arms to the chest

"You think you can challenge me" Nalini scoffs

"Try me, maa. I'm your daughter imagine how horrible I can be" Nikhila states her tone is giving nothing away

"Nikhila, what are you doing inside" Naman voice chimes in

"Coming papa" Nikhila says and walks out holding her bags

"What's your mother is saying" Naman asks taking bags from her and puts them in the trunk

"You know, papa" Nikhila says shrugging nonchalantly

"Don't think that you're a free bird now. I'll be watching your every move" Naman says mimicking her voice

"Let's go before she comes again" Nikhila says softly

"Yeah let's go" Naman starts driving towards the apartment and reached after 30 minutes

At Anitha's house

"Ani, cross check everything again" Aparna shouts from the kitchen

"Okay Amma" Anitha says and checks everything for the last time and sits back on the couch dramatically

"Again started being a drama queen" Arundhati says narrowing her eyes at Anitha while coming out from her room

"Really, paati. Look who's talking about being a drama queen when the "OG DRAMA QUEEN" is here" Anitha says taking breakfast from Ashitha's hand and starts eating

"Yeah yeah eat eat what you can even do. Eat. Sleep. Scrolling mobile. I'm telling you again Ashwin she'll bring shame to our family one day" Arundhati says glaring at her

Anitha opens her mouth to retort but Ashwin interrupts who came back from setting the luggage in the car and heard everything "Stop it, Amma. If you don't like my daughters studying then stay silent because you're not paying any fees so don't interfere in their lives" Ashwin tells strictly leaving no room for argument making Arundhati eyes widen in shock

"One more thing. My daughters will never bring me shame, they're my pride no matter what" He states firmly

"Ani, quickly finish eating. I'll drop you" He says turning to Anitha

"I'll also come" Ashitha says earning a sharp look from Aparna

"Did you forget that you had school today, Ashu" Aparna asks

"No. I didn't" Ashitha pouts

"Good" Ashwin and Aparna says making her pout more

"Appa. I'm done. Let's go" Anitha says holding her bags

Ashwin takes the suitcase and walks silently

"Take care, Ani. Love you" Aparna and Ashitha whispers hugging her

"You also. Don't forget to skip your meals. And you Ashu, don't forget to go to school" She says playfully hugging both of them and pulls back

With that Anitha hops into the car and both of them drives to the apartment

At Deepika house,

Deepika is checking her bags for the last time

"I'll drop her, Ansh" Divyanshi tells to her older twin

"No, I'll drop her" Devika says to her husband

"Both of you, go to your works. I'll drop her" Divyansh says calmly to his wife and sister

"No, I'll drop her" Both Devika and Divyanshi whines at him

"No one need to drop me. I'll go myself" Deepika says making the elders pout

"Don't make those faces now" She says and asks softly "Maa, you dropped me at school. Bua maa, you dropped me to my high school right?" Devika and Divyanshi nod their heads "Then let papa drop me please and it's our home na you both can come at anytime" Deepika says softly

"Okay, fine" Divyanshi and Devika agrees with her

With that Deepika and Divyansh reached the apartment after 30 minutes

Nikhila and Naman are already waiting for them to come. Deepika rushed to her and hugs her. Anitha too joined engulfing both of them in a sisterly embrace

Naman, Ashwin and Divyansh admires their daughter's bond

"How are you, Divyansh bhai" Naman asks Divyansh

"I'm fine, how are you. Are you still troubling Nikku" Divyansh asks and Ashwin narrows his eyes at his bestfriend

"Stop glaring at me, Ashwin" Naman retorts back at his bestfriend

"And I'm not troubling her, bhai" Naman says to Divyansh making him nod

"Good. Just because your wife is threatening you that doesn't mean you can't stop loving your daughter. Understand?" Divyansh stated firmly

"I understood bhai" Naman says quietly

"Now let's get our daughters settled in" Ashwin chimes in diffusing the tense atmosphere

"Yeah let's go" Naman and Divyansh says and holds the bags

"Papa you can't hold all the luggage. You can call us right" Anitha tells taking bags from Ashwin

Nikhila takes the bags from Naman and Deepika takes bags from Divyansh. Six of them entered the elevator Deepika pressed the button of their floor and they reached on seventh floor. Everyone gets down the lift and walks to the flat.

Divyansh handed the keys to Deepika and she unlocks the door pushing it open. Everyone steps inside the spacious apartment.

"Alright, we're getting late. We'll take our leave now" Divyansh announces

Nikhila looks at Naman and hugs him "Please take care, papa" She whispers softly but her voice etches worry

"Don't worry, Nikku. I'll be fine" Naman says hugging her back

"I'll miss you, papa. If that women says anything to you again tell me I'll deal with her" Anitha tells to Ashwin and hugs him

"Deal" Ashwin says making her smile a little

"Papa, you won't be teasing maa. Okay" Deepika says to Divyansh

"Even now you're talking about your mother, huh?" Divyansh whines making everyone laugh

"I love you, papa and don't drive fast. Okay" Deepika says softly

"Done. I won't tease Devika and I won't drive fast" Divyansh states

Eventually three girls bids farewell to their father's and decided what room they want. They unpacked their luggage and arranges in the room they choose

After three hours,

They came to the living room and sat tiredly

"I'm hungry" Deepika says leaning on Nikhila's shoulder

"Mee too" Anitha whispers keeping her head on Nikhila's other shoulder

"I'll order something. What --" Someone rings the main door bell interrupting their talk

"Let me go and check" Nikhila says softly but Anitha and Deepika clung to her like she'll disappear into air

"Anitha, Deepika. Please let me go. I'll be back soon" Nikhila says removing their hands from the hold and goes towards the main door.

She opened the door knob and immediately froze at her place seeing the person in front of her house

Guess who must be standing at the door which made Nikhila froze at her place

Many revelations are done I think and many more to come I guess

About Deepika's apartment, Divyanshi has gifted the apartment to Deepika on her 18th birthday so that she can has her own space

And Naman, Ashwin and Divyansh -- they three at the same college when they're doing their bachelors degree. Naman and Ashwin are batchmates whereas Divyansh is their senior. Three of them attended Anna University in Chennai

Since one week I was trying to write it's done today I was feeling so irritated and angry at people but I can't do anything
