A girl is sleeping peacefully and dreaming about eating golgappe only to wake up with a mug of water splash on her blanket

"Who the hell" The girl throws the blanket aside and looks at her younger brother "When did you come home, Kunj" The girl asked her brother

"Today morning, Nikku" Her brother Kunj said

"Nikhila, Nikunj stop fighting in the morning and both of you get fresh. NOW" Their mother Nalini tells them from the living room in a stern tone

"Duhh/Huff. What we'll do by bathing everyday, Nikku" Nikunj asked Nikhila

"Why don't you ask mumma about that" Nikhila comments, her tone is sarcastic

"It's better to get a bath rather than asking her" Nikunj mutters to her softly

"Good realisation. Now go before she comes shouting for you again" Nikhila says walking into the washroom leaving Nikunj in her room

Eventually Nikunj goes to his room and both of them comes out of their rooms after 20 minutes after getting ready for the day

Nikunj sits on the living room couch with Nalini meanwhile Nikhila goes to the kitchen and makes breakfast for everyone

Nikunj runs to the kitchen smelling the aroma of homemade poha so takes a spoon from the cabinet and taste the poha "It's delicious, Nikku. You know you can open a restaurant with your cooking skills." Nikunj says feeling proud for his sister's delicious cooking skills

"Don't compliment her too much, Nikunj. It's just a poha everyone can make it. What's a big deal in that" Naman said walking to the kitchen while adjusting his watch

Nikhila silently makes tea for Naman and gives him then finishes cooking lunch for Naman and Nalini

"What the hell is this, papa. If you can't compliment her atleast acknowledge her efforts." Naman said glaring at his father

"Watch your tone, Nikunj. Don't forget he's your father." Nalini said taking the plate filled with Poha from Nikhila

"That's why I'm talking. If he was someone else then -- " Cut off by a loud slap echoes in the room and Nikhila cheek burns with the sting of her mother's slap "Is this what you're teaching your brother to revolt against your parents." Nalini roars raising her hand again to strike Nikhila again

Nikhila shrinks back expecting another blow from her mother and apologize continuously "I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't do anything I'm sorry please don't hit me" Her voice is low, trembling and vulnerable

Nalini steps back because she got what she wanted from her daughter. Nikunj glares at his parents dangerously but couldn't say anything because Nikhila is pleading him through her eyes not to start another argument and he nodded silently at her.

Nikhila silently served everyone what they need and packs her parents lunch boxes in the meantime. Naman and Nalini are ready to leave to their work place suddenly Naman calls out her "Nikhila." His tone is stern which brooks no room for disobedience

Nikhila silently goes to the living room "What happened, papa" She asked in low voice

Naman handed her an envelope "You're going to join St. Xavier's University in two weeks." He said nonchalantly

Nikhila eyes welled up with tears not sad ones but happy ones because she's going to join the same university where her bestfriends Anitha and Deepika are going to join

Nikhila hugs her father in happiness and joy. Naman froze by the sudden hug but eventually pulls back from the hug

"Thank you so much, papa." Nikhila said softly

Naman nods curtly and walks out of the house taking the lunchbox from the side table which is packed by Nikhila

"You two better behave" Nalini warns glaring at Nikhila and Nikunj and left out of the house

Nikhila nods without looking at her but Nikunj glares back at her

"Why the hell do you listen to them, Nikku" Nikunj asks her. His tone laces with anger not at her but at their parents who always controls his elder sister's life and he feels guilty for not able to take a stand for her

Nikhila was about to answer Nikunj's question but when she about to tell something her mobile buzzed with a conference call of her both bestfriends Anitha and Deepika

She answered the call only pull back the mobile because their voices are so loud "Congratulations, Nikku. We three are going to join in the same college" Anitha and Deepika screams out loud their voices are expressing joy and happiness

"Yes, we three will be together but by the way what about departments. And what are your departments" Nikhila asks "Computer science" They both replied at the same time

Nikhila jumps in happiness and says "If you two are here right now then I would've given a big hug."

"And may we know why is that" Anitha asks "Because I'm also going to join the same department as yours." Nikhila tells them happily

"Wow, Nikku that's a great news. Let's have a party then." Deepika says

"I can't come maa and papa aren't home and Kunj is at home." Nikhila tells them her voice is low almost dull

"No need to come anywhere just turn back" Anitha says softly entering the house with Deepika

Nikhila turns back and both of them jumps on her which caused her to stumble back and she grips the table to stable three of them

"When you both come" Nikhila asks in low voice

"Nikunj texted us what happened." Deepika tells her voice laces with anger at Nikhila's parents and worry for her bestfriend

"Why the hell do you let them control everything, Nikku" Anitha asks her tone was filled with worry for her bestfriend

Nikhila silently goes to the kitchen and prepares chocolate milkshake. Anitha and Deepika followed her to the kitchen "Fine then don't answer us atleast do you have an answer for yourself" Deepika asks her roughly

Nikhila silently gave them milkshake and Nikunj takes the milkshake from her hand silently

"We're going out" Anitha declares her tone is firm

"Yeah and Nikku no excuses this time" Saying this Deepika and Anitha walks to Nikhila's room and changed their casuals into one of Nikhila's salwar suit and keeps an outfit for her too

Nikhila enters the room and looks at her friends and asks "Are you done. Can we go now"

"Yeah we can. But after you change into something" Deepika says giving the outfit which Deepika and Anitha selected for her

Nikhila nods knowing arguing with them is waste of time and changes into the dress they selected

"We've got a nice selection, Ani" Deepika says looking at Nikhila who's coming out of the room after changing

"If I was a man then I would definitely marry her." Anitha says dreamily

"And we would share her too." Deepika says dreamily matching Anitha's tone

"I'm straight girls" Nikhila remarks standing in front of them

"We know that" Both Anitha and Deepika remarks back

"But you know what my father don't have any problem if I get a girl and tells him that dad I love this girl" Deepika says teasingly at Nikhila

"Whatever" Nikhila and Anitha rolls their eyes at her

With that Nikunj went to Deepika's home as his bestfriends Ashitha and Darshana are there

Meanwhile Nikhila, Anitha and Deepika went to the Shiv Temple and enters inside the temple...

On the other side,

Three men who are in their late twenties are doing workouts in their gym room

"I can't do this anymore" First one says dramatically dropping the weights from his hands

"Don't be dramatic, bhai. If he comes then you're done" Another remarks

"You're right but I can't --" starts lifting the weights after hearing the third one's voice

"Who's talking about stopping the exercise?" The third one entered the room his presence itself commanding attention

"N.. No one, Subhash." The first one Vaishnav mumbled and continues with his exercise

"Good." Subhash tells him and resumes doing his workout "Why you always force him to do workout, bhai?" The second one asks Subhash

"Because he always eats more so to burn calories he has to do workout, Shashank." Subhash tells his younger brother and Shashank nodded knowing about Vaishnav eating habits

"I'm going temple after getting fresh. Do anyone of you want to join?" Shashank asks nonchalantly knowing they both don't believe in god much

"I've to go to orphanage." Vaishnav replied immediately and Shashank looks at Subhash expectantly "Bhai I know you'll say no but please come please please please" Shashank makes a puppy face in front of Subhash which immediately melts his cold demeanor a little

"Thank you Bhai" Shashank says jumping into his arms and adds "You're the best brother" Vaishnav clicked both of their picture without knowing them

"Go and get fresh before changing my mind" Subhash says his voice is little firm. Shashank scurries away to his room and get fresh

Subhash turns to Vaishnav "Are you really going to orphanage today" Vaishnav nods "It's been almost two weeks I didn't go to orphanage and kids wants to meet me the caretaker informed me yesterday" Subhash nods understandingly

After sometime three of them got ready and Vaishnav mobile buzzed with his uncle Anubhav's call "Hello baba" Vaishnav voices beam with happiness

"Not baba, Vaishnav. It's your Aai." Mrinalini his aunt tells him sternly

"Sorry Aai. I promise I'll be home soon now please don't scold your only baby please please please" Vaishnav says cutely which melts Mrinalini's heart immediately

"Fine I won't scold just try not to work too much and take care, Okay?" Mrinalini says softly and adds "Bring Subhash and Shashank with you next time. It's been so long I see them"

"Aye Aye captain!!!" Vaishnav says dramatically and says "Love you, Aai. Take care"

"Love you too, beta. Take care" she hungs up the call

"Who's on the call" Subhash asks

"It's Aai and she asked me to bring you and Shashank home next time" Vaishanav replies back

"Bhai, let's go we're getting late. Bye Vaishnav bhai" Shashank reminds them and walks towards the car and Subhash silently slides into the passenger seat and Vaishnav goes to the orphanage in his car

Guys I've been trying to write from two days today I finally finished writing the chapter and I'm travelling to Hyderabad now...

So if possible I'll try to write and post the chapter soon

And Vaishnav calls Anubhav and Mrinalini as Aai and Baba since childhood and used to call Abhinav and Vaishali as Maa and Papa
